Sublevel Nurses Station

This nurses station is the central hub of communication for the sublevels, and it is from here that medications and meals are delivered to patients in seclusion. Security and video surveillance of seclusion rooms are also routed through this station.

Seclusion

Located on Sublevel II, the seclusion rooms are for long term isolation. They are heavily monitored, and rooms contain only a bed and a toilet. Seclusion and isolation rooms are not padded unless otherwise specified or directed by the therapist on duty.

Sublevel Showerhouse

Located on Sublevel II, the sublevel showerhouse is utilised by patients in seclusion, only under heavy supervision by the ward nurses and orderlies. Access to the Sublevels may not be gained by any patients not resident there, nor patient visitors.

Specialised Treatment Rooms

The specialised treatment rooms are located on Sublevel I, and consist of such rooms as the hydrotherapy room and the ECT room, amongst others.

Sublevel Therapy Offices

The sublevel offices of St. Matilda's psychiatric staff, utilised for patients residing in seclusion. These rooms are rather Spartan and may be heavily monitored for the safety of the patient and therapist.
