West Wing Recreation Room
The west wing recreation room is the largest recreation room on site, and a designated smoking area during regular daytime operation hours. It boast many games, a standing piano (which is regularly locked) televisions and radios. It is often host to games tournaments for the entertainment of the patients.

The Solarium
The solarium is a brightly lit place of relaxation, flanked entirely on one side by large windows that offer a view of St. Matilda's front gardens and the wooded trails beyond. Many plants, some of which are rather old, flourish here, and the room offers old fashioned wicker seating for many patients. The solarium is to remain quiet, for the benefit of troubled patients seeking a peaceful atmosphere.

Short-Term Isolation
Short term isolation is to be used for no longer than two days at a time, and is most often used for restraint of violent or disruptive patients on an hourly basis. Isolation terms exceeding two days are served in seclusion on Sublevel II.
